Rand made this topbar beehive for me for Christmas. It's made with upcycled wood. He followed a design and added his own modifications to it. It is sitting upon a chair and awaiting its own stand.

We are also taking a natural beetending class over here with the Barefoot Beekeeper. There is lots to learn. We thought that since we started making mead that we should also give back to the bees by helping them grow healthier and more vibrant colonies. This is a bit of our effot towards that.




I like the look of that hive it's shape is intriguing. Thank you for the link to the barefoot beekeeper it looks interesting.
