We arrived early that day at Portland Head Lighthouse. There were only a few souls walking about. From a distance the lighthouse was shrouded in deep mist and fog. Over a very short time, the fog began to lift and we saw more and more of the beautiful sea.

This is what my builder saw. Not only the architecture but, the little bird perched on the edge.
There was Rosa Rugoa everywhere and rosehips. See the little spider web tucked in there?
